Thailand's first and only neuroscience curriculum, established in 1987. From cellular and molecular mechanisms to systems-level brain function.
The Graduate Program in Neuroscience at the Institute of Molecular Biosciences, Mahidol University, spans key areas of neuroscience, from cellular and molecular mechanisms to systems-level brain function. It is designed to cultivate a deep understanding of the brain in both normal and pathological conditions, including neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric disorders.
Through collaborations with experts in cellular and molecular biology, cognitive and behavioral neuroscience, clinical psychology, and computational neuroscience, students pursue diverse research topics using animal or human models to investigate brain function in both healthy and diseased states.
Five outcomes for each degree, across four domains.
One year of coursework and one year of research: 20 coursework credits (including seminar) and a 16-credit thesis.
The program also offers courses open to all learners looking to enhance their knowledge and skills. Earned credits are transferable toward Mahidol University's postgraduate programs for those pursuing future degrees.
